WRITING COMPETITION.
The writing-, competition for pupiPa attending the Primary' schools of the Hutt Valley, which was held in connection with the recent show of the Hutt Valley Poultry, Pigeon and Cage Bird Society drew forth a large number of entries and the judge, Mr J. Kerr, had a very difficult task in selecting the winners. These, turned out to be Jean Boult (girls) Upper Hutt and Oaear Miller, Hutt Central. (Boys) each of whom receives a silver medal.
