MOTHERS' UNION.
The mothers of the Hutt district who recently heard Dr. Platt-Mills deal with the subject of "The Teaching of Sex Hygiene to Growing Children," wilt rejoice to learn that she has kindly consented to continue her unfinished talk at the next meeting of the League of. Mothers to be held on Thursday next, August 16th in King George Hall at 2.30 p.m. Her last, address was a revelation to her audience and all women of the "Valley, whether members or not, are urged to avail theniselves of the opportunity to hear this difficult yet vital subject treated in a sympathetic and understanding manner by a mother who has had such varied experience in the medical world. The opportunity is unique and mothers with growing children are favoured.to have the chance of heating seasoned advice.
Mothers with young children are reminded that a creche has been arranged in an upstairs room where the bairns are cared for and happily looked after while the mother has relaxation -of mind to enjoy these instructive afternoons. Music and afternoon tea are always provided and. everything done. to make these afternoons unique and helpful to the .homemakers, who" are anxious to learn everything that.assists^ in making, mothers and better homes. - . -
