BUS SERVICES.

Sir,—Formerly we had an excellent bus service. Now there are more daily complaints—and well founded ones too—than there are buses Tunning. Then they were owned and competently managed by private enterprise. ISTow they are incompetently run arid mismanaged by a red-taped Government Department. We used not to have any occasion to complain; now there's nothing but complaints. We don't want a lot of officials coming round and asking particulars of our complaints. What we want is a service like we used to have and there would be no need for complaints. But if the Departmental officers want to hear complaints they only need to ask any regular user of the buses, and the red-taped one will get not only a busload but a waggon-ful of 'em. —I am etc., "OLD TIMEE."
