WAIWETU LADIES' GOLF CLUB

A very successful season is being enjoyed by the above and the various competitions are comp,eted for with enthusiasm. So far, Miss M. Lee has feeen, themost fortunate and her well merited wins include Mrs Findlay's trophy, a, .Button. Competition and a mixed Canadian Foursome. The Juniors are busy fighting hard to keep their'"lives" going in the-Two-life Competition for Mra. Adamson's trophy. In Inter-club matches we have held our own, being square with Manor Park and beating Banui 6 games to 2. The links are in goad order and, given fine week-ends, a very successful season should be looked for.
