It always gladdens our hearts to see an enthusiastic body of workers expending their energies for the good of the community. A striking example is theWaiwhetu Parents' Association, the members of which are always seeking: for new methods of raising money for the children. One section of their activities seeking support, re our advertisement columns, is the "Five Hundred '' evening held every Wednesday in the Waiwehtu School at 8 o'clockThe prizes are worth while, the supperis good, and we should like to see this enterprise gain the support of every "Five Hundred" player in the district,, as the value o£ such praise-worthy effort can never be over-estimated. Personally we should like to help them; what about you?
