HUTT DENTAL CLINIC.

The usual monthly meeting of the Hutt Dental Clinic was held on Monday, sth September, Mr. W. V. Dyer, chairman, presiding. The secretary, Mr. A. J. Gearing, reported that he had arranged with the Petone Benefit Entertainers to give a benefit concert on Monday, October 17th. He explained that the tickets had been printed for October 10th, but the secretary of the company had found it necessary to alter the date to the 17th owing to an alteration having been made at Petone tor a previously arranged concert. A report was received from the committee set up, to go into the question of improving the lighting of the Clinic room. They estimated the work to cost £80, and it was resolved to approach the Borough Council for assistance to get the work done. The nurse's report, showed an increase in the number of patients treated for the month of August, and are as follows (the previous month's figures being shown in parentheses): Patients 136 (132), attendances 215 (201), operations 493 (437). The box collections showed an increase, and members were pleased with the increased support being received from parents.
