AT THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S
A man entered a photographer's shop the other day to have his photograph taken. "Mounted or otherwise?" asked the photographer. "Aye, I'll have it taken mounted," replied the man, "but I don't know what the missus'll say; she's never seen me on a horse before ?" * * * Mr. Newed (solicitously): "And how do you get along with the butcher, darling ? " Mrs. Newed: "Oh, splendidly! He's such a generous man, dear! When I order a four-pound joint, he always sends one weighing six or seven!"
