This club opened its second season on 28th March. This young club has made wonderful progress since its formation twelve months ago and is catering for the young people in a way that reflects great credit on the management.

Some remarkably fine performances have been recorded by various representative teams from the club, "A" Grade Team (Inter-Club Championship Shield) having an unbeaten record; *'B" Grade Team secured third place in same competition. "A" Grade Team secured first place at Featherston Championship meeting, tied for first place at Wellington Championship meeting, and fifth place in New Zealand Championship meeting. Mr. Robertson, a member of the club, also won championship and gold medal for 29 consecutive bull's-eyes in New Zealand Miniature Rifle Association's Championship meeting.

The club holds the WORLD'S RECORD—eight men having scored one off the possible of 400.

F. Ching was winner of the club championship for the second time in succession, while F. Kershaw, senr.,

was again runner-up. Mr. Ching holds the Wilford Cup, and won the Langdon Trophy. Mr. Clout was the winner of the "B" grade championship off the rifle, and wins the Horman Trophy. A. Patterson, who is i first year shot, was the winner of the Strand Challenge Cup.

A Ladies' Club has been formed, and is showing considerable progress. An expenditure of £100/17/8 has been met by means of socials, etc., in which the ladies have rendered valuable assistance. About £25 is still owing on the building, which it is anticipated will be more than realised during the coming year.

There is at present a membership of 33, and an open invitation is extended to all interested in the sport to enroll as members and encourage this promising young club.
