There is a fair demand for dressed pork which is in short supply, -prices showing a decline owing to the warmer weather. Eggs are in good demand, and show a slight advance in price. Honey is dull of sal©. There is an excellent demand for poultry and excellent prices are being 'realized. Supplies of choice cabbage have fallen off somewhat and high prices are ruling. Choice cauliflower are in good demand and bring fair prices. Lettuce shows much improved enquiry and higher rates are ruling. Parsnips, carrots, turnips and beetroot are in short supply and meet keen competition. Spring onions and leeks ' are selling are selling freely. Present supplies of rhubarb are of excellent quality and although plentiful, bring good prices. Larger supplies of green peas have been available, and prices have declined. Strawberries, passions and gooseberries aire arriving in fair quantities and are readily bought up at satisfactory rates. Loval cherries are more plentiful and meet with good demand Hutt hot-honse tomatoes are arriving in small parcels and are bringing satisfactory prices. Pollard.—£7 lbs per ton.
