Wellington, Nov. 24. Old. potatoes are firm in price, but transactions are small; supplies held are Australian grown. Xew potatoes have returned to normal during the last few d'ays. Values should however decline as the new season s supples arrive. There lias been a very sharp advance in wheat wlitch liats risen (id per bushel during the last fortnight. Maize also is higher, doubtless in sympathy with wheat Oats are firm but very little business passing. Pollard and bran are steady. Oil account of the warmer weatTier dressed pork is not in such keen demand, and prices show a declining tendency. Eggs are firm. Honey is dull of sale. Poultry is in exceptional demand and fancy prices are being realized. Vegetables.—Choice spring cabbage still continues to arrive in large quantities and values are much lower.
