The Allies also progressed. GERMAN PROGRESS IN RUMANIA. London, Nor. 23. A German evening communiqu'o claims progress near Orsova. The "Daiily Chronic'e's "Petrogra 1 crrrespande-nt says:— "1 he situation in Rumania is evidently serious. The capture of Faliasli, 50 miles south of the frontier, is important. Wiithin three days the 'Rumanians have retired 33 miles. It -is noteworthy that this success was achieved l in the Jiul valley, where the (Rumanians recently routed the 11th Bavarian IWieion.'
