(Received This Day 9.53 a.m.) DJSUTSCH.LAND OUTS DOWN A TUG. « New York, Nov. 17. The Deutsehlnnd reached the month of Long Island Sound when the escorting tug attempted to cross her bow. There was a strong current and the Deutsehland being invisible lin the darkness (she carried no lights) the tug was cut in two andl sank in three minutes. The captatfn was crushed in the whqelhon.se and four of the crew were trapped like rats below. The others were saved, including Hindi, representative of the Deutsehland's owners. The Deutschlond returned tc> New London under her own power and was docked for examinatffon. The damage is unknown, but the members of the Deutsch land's crew say she will re-sail in a few days.
