The JS'ew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited report: At our usual weekly .stock sale held at Levin yards yesterday we submitted a small entry of sheep and a good yarding of cattle to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was brisk and we have to report a good sale. tations : Woolly hoggets 32s 4d to 365, woolly store ewes and wethers 3Gs 3d ; fat cows £10 7s, £'12 3s, £12 17s, £13 os; fat bulls £10, good store cows £8 10s to £0 2«; 3-year steers £9 12s to £12 lis; mixed yearlings (.inferior) £3 7s Gd; cows with calves £10 10s; small weaner calves 265; springing cows £7. Dalgetv and Co. Ltd. report having held their usual wedklyi stock sale atLevin on Tuesday when they submitted to a good attendance of buyers a full yarding of cattle and a medium yarding of sheep. Bidding throughout was keen and practically the whole yarding changed hands. The following is a summary of the prices obtained. •Sheep.—Medi'um woolly hoggets 33s 0x1; shorn hoggets 27s 3d to 21s 4d; shorn wethers to 375.
