LONDON WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Company Limited have received the following cablegram from their London office, under date of the 24th inst.—Wool sales commenced with a good attendance. There was a fair selection (mostly crossbrects). There was good competition sa compared with last sale. Merinos, greasy and scoured, par to 5 per cent. Greasy crossbreds, fine 5 to 7| per cent; medium and coarse 5 per cent higher. Scoured and slipes slightly dearer.
DEIAD WOOL, TALLOW. ETC
The N.Z. Farmers' Co-operative Distributing Company, Ld., report as under At our sale to-day we had a good catalogue of dead wool and sheepskins. The market was very firm, and the demand as keen as at any sale for some weeks past. All lots tof skins were eagerly competed for, and realised full rates. iHkkw were very steady, and calf skins changed hands about on a par with last sale.
