The French obtained a foothold in the village and sugar refinery at Genennoiit. We hold the southern part of Ablaincourt. There is activity west of Lutzk. Russian attacks south of Laturcy and Bnbnov wvre repulsed. We recaptured tlie summit of Smotrec, which wo lost on the 21st. The Austro-Hungarians repelled the Rumanians on both sides of Szurduk Pass. Enemy attempts to attack east of the Monastir-Fhirina rihvav failed. ITALIAN COMMUNIQUE. A Russian communique says one of our submarines captured a 0000-ton transport in the Black S'a. near the Bofiphorus after an hour's fight.
