Wlieat is still firm at recent rates and oats 'have advanced slightly since last report. There is little enquiry for maize and no change in price. Recent prices for pollard and bran are being maintained and of spring cabbage are coming in from is still in very short supply and tlie demand continues unsatisfied. Honey is scarce. Eggs continue to be in excellent demand' and prices remain the same as last week. Linseed oil cake meal for stock feeding is being used in increasing quantities with Satisfactory results. Vegetables.— .Fairly large supplies of sprin gcabbage are coming in from tlie Hutt and country districts and Weill paciked lines aire bringing good prices. Choice cauliflowers are in short supply andi high rates are ruling. Choice lettuce meet with ready sale at satisfactory prices, but inferior ilnee are hard to quit. Swedes are slow. A good demand continues for parsnips which are realizing high prices. Table carrots and white turnips are bringing fair prices, and celery, spring onions andi leeks are also selling well. Rhubarb is now arriving in large quantities and meets with a good demand at satisfactory rates. A few Nelson green peas have been sold during the week, and have realiz'ed fancy prices. Fruity—Choice dessert and .cooking apples are in good demand and high prices are being maintained. Choice pears are scarce and are eagerly bought up at high rates. Asparagus.—ls to Is 6d per bundle. Wlieat.—Good whole fowl 5s 5d bus. ten sack lots 5s 4d. Maize—Local grown, 5s per bushel. Oatts.—3e 9d per bushel. Special quotations for largo lots. Partridge Pea Seed—7s per bushel.
