LONDON WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Co.. M., have received the fall-owing cablegram from their London house, under date of the 22nd September"The sales closed firm. As compared with the eloping rates of last sale, super and good scoured merinos 'are' from par 'to 3 per cent lower, and short and faulty declined 5 per contto 10 per cent. Super and good greasy merino were higher by o per cent, but short faulty ditto were 5 per cent lower. Fine greasy erossbrods advanced 5 pea- cent, and medium and coarse 5 per cent to 7\ per cent. JBcwnred crossl>reds were lower by 5 pr cent. Scoured free lambs were 5 per ' cent higher, but faulty declined 7| per cent. Slipes were from pan* to 5 per cent higher. The Home trade bought 87,000 ibalee; the Continent 6000 bales, and 10,500 bales were carried forward, of which 5000 were not offered. ' j'"!'* < '* '' .
