Eggs are in good, demand at last week's rates. Linseed old cake meal i<s bring used in increasing quantities with satisfactory results. Vegetables.—Owing to tlie largely increased de:i:°:ul for military purposes all lines of vegetables are realizing high prices. Cauliflower and cabbage especially have shown a marked advance. Choice lines ol' lettuce cause keen competition. Parsnips, table carrots and white turnips are in very good demand and meet ready sale. Celery. spring onions and leeks are also selling freely. • Swedes are slow. Rhubarb is arriving in increasing quantities and meets excellent demand at satisfactory prices. Fruit :—Choice dessert and cooking apples continue scarce and excellent priccs are realising for well packed lilies. Dessert pears -are eagerly bought up at high rates.
