BUSINESS NOTES
Next Wednesday afternoon the county engineer will show intending contractors over the ground at Kawiu road which is to be formed to order of the council. Mr Malcolm will he on the ground at 2 o'clock. Mr J. C. Millies, iLevin. agent for the Ford motor car, advertises substantia! reductions in the selling price of these desirable cars. They are now to be purchased from him at £170 °r £180 which is practically as cheap as they were to be had before the war, and which is substantial reduction on prices that have been ruling during the last twelve months. There have been more that one million Ford cars sold up to date: the proprietary set the number down as 1,006,835 a-s far back as last October.
