'Lately there ha\ 1 iieen notice's served upon employers regarding tbe Expeditionary Force Ki.scrve, and in conncction with employers' liabilities thereunder it would he well for all to bear in mind the governing regulation which run.s: — "It shall be the duty of every person to whom such topics have been supplied forthwith to exhibit the name in a conspicuous place and manner upon the premises .so owned or occupied by him, and to conform to such directions if any as may be given or caused to be given" by the Minister of Defence as to the place and manner of such exhibition for a period of one calendar month or for such longer period ais may be required by the Minister of Defence.'' 'It is further provided that "every person who fails or refuses; any duty imposed by these regulations, or who without lawful authority destroys, defaces, obscures, removes, or otlierw ise interfere* with any military service notice exhibited in pursuance of these regulations, shall be guilty of an offence against these regulations and blk.ll be liable accordingly." Quito apart from the matter of penalty there is the duty every true citizen cheerfully renders to the State; which pen so of duty must- result in bis obeying the spirit as well as in the letter the requirements of the AVar Regulations.
