The Corsiean Kay*: Just as a good and a bad horse both need the spur, a pi goodl and a had woman both need the stick 'Hie Hindu : A man is not obeyed bj his wife in bis own house,, nor does she consider him her husband tinless he bent is her. Another Hindu proverb says: Drive out a woman's nature with ti pitchfork, and it will return again and again.
