He said he lived in a tent flt Otaliuhu, and that he kept the revolver for self-protection. told the magistrate lie had no special cause to fear the residents of Otahulm, but as j lie sometimes kept money in Ills tent, j which was near « pub'mc road, he kept tho revolver by liiin. Evidently the court thought the accused might be inclined to shoot at. dingbats when drunk ; so accused was fined £1 and told to leave the revolver at home next time he set out for Auckland. _
