ERECTION OF FEN CIS. A fence of any of the kinds mentioned in the Second Schedule is a ' efficient fence within the meaning of the Fencing Act (5.7). The occupiers of adjoining lands not divided by a sufficient fence are liable to join in ot contribute in equal proportions to the erection of a fence between such lands, although such fence may not extend along the whole boundary line. But no occupier is liable to contribute to any fence which is not, aa far as practicable, eoztimosr throughout its length.
