The potato market again shows a hardening tendency ana supplies in the south appear to be short, so that there is little likelihood' ol any fall in price. Oats ere stationery and sales .slow. Wheat has advanced slightly since latst report and a fair amoiinc o£ biiMtiesfs is passing. rollard and bum are steady at recent raies. Pork j is in very good demanu at excellent prices. Honey is scarce and there is a keen enquiry for quantities. Linsee*] oil meal lor stock feeding is being largely used for all classes of stock. Cabbage and cauliflower are in good demand and fair prices are realized for these. Choice lettuce its selling at high rates. Carrots, white turnips and parsnips «re in better supply and. prices have weakened. Marrow and pumpKins are in fair demand at improved rate 3. Swedes are plentiful and values are less. There is an excellent demand for choice dessert apples which are bringing good prices. Tlie demand is also good for cooking apples. Choice dessert pears are keenly enquired for.
