The potato market again showe a hardening tendency and supplies in the south appear to bo short, so that there is little likelihood! of any fall in price. Oats ere stationery and sales slow. Wheat has advanced slightly since last report and a fair amount of business is passing. Pollard and bmu are steady at recent rates, Pork is in very good demand at excellent prices. Honey is scarce andt there is a keen enquiry for quantities. Linseed oil meal for stock feeding is being largeV used for all classes of stock. Cabbage and cauliflower are in good demand and fair prices are realized for t"Kese. Choice lettuce is selling at high rates. Carrots, white turnips and parsnips are in better supply nnd prices hare weakened. Marrow and pumpkins are in fair demand at improved rates. Swedes are plentiful and values are less. There is an excellent demand for choice dessert apples winch are bringing good prices. The demand is also good for cooking applies. Choice dessert pears are keenly enquired for.
