The Red Cross Shop
I Just at present the \N omen's Red Cross Guild is very busy making drawsheets, pyjamas, and bandages of all -descriptions. There w&s a good attendance on Fridiay afternoon last and •those present were:—Mrs Heading, Mrs Porteous, Mrs Plaster, Mra I. Hook, Mrs Andrews, Mrs Cork, Mrs Kirkj Miss Beeves, Mrs Kingdon, Miss Hitchings, Mrs" Mackenzie, Mrs Vincent, Mrs Pink, Mrs Keedwell, Miss Sedcole, Mrs Ohaplin, Mrs Kirktaldie, Miss Parsons, Misa Weston, Mrs Brown, Mrs Goldsmith, Mrs Richter, Mi»s Gllassford, Mi's WiaStUace, Miss Goodbehere, Mrs J. Prouse. Mrs Gorringe and; Miss Hitchings were in charge of the shop. Business was brisk as usual and the money taken amounted to £7 3s 6d. Nest week tiie proceeds of the shop are to the locail boldiers' Comforts Fund, which includes the Cardigan jacket which our inen receive on going into eaiwp. Following is tbo list of those who sent gifts last Saturdlay Mrs Andrews, Mrs Palmes, Mrs Gapper, Mr Rutherford, Mrs Scott, Mrs J. Dtavies, Mrs Kingdon, Mrs ft.
