» DANXEVTRKE SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agcno.v Company, Limited. Dannevirko, report:—We held our usual weekly stock salo at the Dannorirke saleyardu on Friday laat. There was a fair yarding of stock but the attendance of buyers was small. Stock soV.I at values rather Hinder those realized at previous sales. The following are the quotations:— Cattle. —Fat cows £6 KV; to i'B 6s: store cows £5 lzn to £6 6s; tat. heifers £7 to £8 ss; weaner steers 21s to 355. Sheep.---Fat ewes '21s 6d to 28s; cjnptv ewes 18k 6d to 21s fid ; woolly lambs (mixed sex) 15s to 18s 7d; shorn lambs Ms 6d to 15s 3d.
