Oats are steady at recent rates. Wheat is offering freely, and prices are stationary. I'oiiard and bran have again risen in price, and supplies art' short at the niomont. i'ork is iu good demand. Honey is wanted. Molasses lor stock feeding is iti very good demand. Linseed oil cake is being usect by farmers in increasing qu&utitiea throughout" the province for all classes of etock. Owing to the prohibitive price of copper sulphate (about 80s per cwt), lime sulphur solution is being largely used as a Might specific with satisfactory results. Cabbage and cauliflower are in good demand and high priccs are being obtained. Lcttuce is in snort supply, and satisfactory prices are ruling. Carrots, white turnips and> parsnips are readily bought 'up and the supply is not equal to the demand. Marrows and pumpkins are plentiful. French beans are (scarce, and fetching high prices. Swedes 1 still arc plentiful and salts axe restricted.. Tomatoes are practically ! finished. Choice dessert apples are m good demand and values liave iniprovcu. Cooking apples are in better supply and are realizing fair prices. Choice dessert pears are m good demand at high values. Walnuts are enquired for.
