Potrogradi, June 1 4. The latest reports say that the Russians have cut the Austrian railway communication north of Czernovitz and heavy fighting is proceeding on the northern and eastern outskirts. A small Russian detachment penetrated Roumania at Matoriza by mistake. Russia apologised and. the troops were withdrawn. It is estimated that the Austrian losses for the week in killed and woundedi total 232,000. Ten per cent of the prisoners are Germans. General Rrussiloff, in replying to congratulations, says he hopes to gain such a succses as to utterly orueh tho enemy.
