OHAU BRiiNVH. This small branch of the Red Cross Society has been in existence since November last. Alra Kebbeli is the ion. secretary and treasurer, and members ol the branch meet on two afternoons » in the month at Mra A. McLeavey'a for the ordinary work of the society, and in addition, the members in their own homes make 100 hold-alls per month. Up to the end of (May the following work Jiaa been effected: via., 1577 roller bandages, 20H head bandages, 171 many-tail bandages, 38 eye bandages, (39 face cloths, 33 treasure bags, 680 swabs, 21 T bandages, 7 limb bandages, 50 handrknitted socks, and 21 Balaclavas. The balance-sheet shows the position of the funds of the brancli as follows:— Receipts.—Schoolchildren'a bazaar £20 2s 6d; Ohau Institute Committee £3 10s; monthly donations, sales, eto. £14 lis 2d. Total £38 3e Bdt Expenditure.—Purchase of material (bandage-cloth, calico, wool, flannelette) £28 18s 8d; balance in hand £9 ss. Total £38 3s Bd.
