EOR THE PERIOD EROM Ist APRIL TO 31st MARCH, 1917. rII HAT public notice be given in a»- -®- cordance with the statutory provisions ot Section 78 of "The Municipal Corporations Act 1908,' and "The Rating Act 1908, ' that it ifc the intention ol this Council at a meeting to be held on the 19th June, 1910, (1) To strike a General Rate of lid in the £ on the capital value of all Ratable Property in the Borough of Levin, for the period from the Ist Day of April, 1910, t« the 31st Day oi March, 1917, the same to become due and payable in one instalment on the 14tli Day, 1910; and that the Valuation Roil is open for inspection as by law provided; and: (2) That tho Water Rate (ordinary supply) for the period from list day of April, to the 31st Day of March, 1917, under the provisions of Section 83 of "Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, ' and of "The Rating Act, i 908," De a.s follows: that is—On ail Lands and buildings used as dwelling nouses in the Borough of Levin to which water is supplied (a) where the Annual Ratable Value as per Valuation Roll does not exceed £12 IDs per annum, at rate of 10s; (b) where such annual value exceeds £12 10s, a rate of £7 per centum upon the first £100 of such value and a rate of £1 per centum on so much oi such value as exceeds £J.OU. One half of the respective vVator Rates hereinbefore mentioned on aij lands and buildings used as stores, warehouses, oi for any other purposes than dwelling housee; and further that the said water rates shall .become due and payable in one instalment on the Said 14tli Day of August, 1910.
