THE MEW ZEALAND FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING OOMPANY, LIMITED. WEEKLY REPORT. Well Lag ton, May 15. Potatoes are arriving in large quantities from the South, and values have declined. Wheat and oats are stationary, and fail- quantities are being sold. Pollard and bran are extremely scarce, and prices have shown a sharp increase. Chaff is selling well at receipt rates. Pork is in excellent iemand and the market is not fully supplied!. Honey its wanted. Molasses for stock feeding is in very good demand. Linseed oil cake is being used by farmers in increasing quantities throughout the province for all classes of stock. Owing to the prohibitive price of copper sulphate (about 80s per cwt.), iime sulphur solution is being largely used as a blight specific, with very satisfactory results. Cabbage and cauliflowers are coming to hand in small parcels, andi cause keen competition. Well packed lines of lettuce are bringing good prices, but inferior lines are hard to quit. Carrots, white turnips, and parsnips me] in good demand, and prices are realised. Marrows and pumpkins are plentiful. French beans are scarce, and bringing nigher prices. Swedes are selling well. Tomatoes "are coming to band in moderate quantities and fair prices are realised. Choice dessert apples are scarce, and e l,oo<? demand exists for well-packed lines. Cooking apples are in better demand and prices ha-ve inproved. Choice dlessert pears are keenly sought ;or, and high prices are realised. Wain :ts are enquired for.
