There was a capital attendance, the president (Mr Frank l'enn) occupying the chair.. A program of musical items was gone through, tho various items being well received. Mrs Swabey, Misses JL<\ McClelland, Uockrell and Uaplcy and Mr E. Lanchester (encored) contributed songs. Miss Hap ley contributed two items, Mrs ti. O. Jones gave a pianoforte solo, recitations were given by Mrs Barclay (encored), Messrs C. L. tlartmann,'* T. Collins, and Penn. Mr iVorgrove gave two humorous readings, while Mr i J enn gave a musical monologue. The accompaniments wore played by Memdames Jones and Blathwayt. ,
