Poliard is scarce and prices are firmer. Chaff is still selling well at recent rates. Pork is in very good demand, and larger'-sup-plies can be dealt with. Sucking pigs hare been arriving in large numbsrs, and as the demand is limited, prices will suffer a big drop if the aapp'iy continues or increases. Honey is wanted. Molasses for stock feeding i 8 in good demand owing to the shortage. Cabbage is {etching high prices and supplies are limited. Choice cauliflowers are in short supply and realizing high prices far well packed fines. A good demand exists for choice 'ettuce. but inferior lines are hard to quit. Very few swedes are offering, and high rates are ruling. Parsnips are in good demand andir fai prices are realized. Carrots and white turnips are in good demand. Marrow and pumpkins are arriving in large quantities and prices are Sower. Spring onions, leeks and celery are in good supply. French beans are keenly bid for and bring high prices. Hutt tomatoes are realizing Jiigh prices and only small parcels are arriving. Choioe dessert apples and pears are keenly sought tor, and ' igh prices are ruling.
