GAS MANAGERS REPORT. The manager of the gasworks reported as follows:—Last month matters connected with the department showed a steady forward movement, >md the output oif gas at the present time shows approximately 1000 hubic ..et per day in excess of the amount made in the corresponding period of last year. Since the last report two new consumers have been added, and to date there are 106 gas active use. A good amount of gas fitting has "been carried out, nnd the us.in' time devoted to general maintenance. As instructed by the council the work of erecting the now <amp. at the T.vne street crossing will be proceeded with tin's week; the pipes for the work have conic to hand.
