If the average yield ef -wheat shown above (20.13 bushels) be applied over the whole dominion the total yield of wheat for the season would appear to be approximately six million and thrce-oiiorter bushels, or just slightly in excess of last season's total. The figures foregoing all are based upon returns irom * dfstnets wherein areas of one thousand acres oi' more were harvested.
