SPECIAL ORDER made by the Horowhenua County Council, i.t a special meeting held on Saturday, 11th February, 1916, authorising the raisina of a loan of £700, viz.— in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in tKat behalf by section 16 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and with the oonsent of the ratepayers of the special rating area in the Horo whenua County hereinafter desenbed, testified by a petition signed! by not less than three-tourths ot the ratepayers of the said special rating area, the capital of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said County, 's collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, tuie Horowhenua County Council hereby resolve by way ot Special Order as follows:— For the purpose of constructing, forming and metalling a road n the undermentioned special rating area, the Horowhenua County Councii hereby authorises the raising of a loan or £700, at 4i per centum, per annum, tor a period of 36i years, and declares that the cost of raising the said loan snarl be payable out of the moneys so raised.
