ERECTION OF FENCES. A fence of any of the hinds mentioned in the Second Schedule is a t-uf-licieat fence within the m6uni:i« of ilio Fencing Act (8.7). Tlie occupiers of adjoining lands not divided by a sufficient fence are liaule to join in or contribute in equal proportions to the erection of a fence uetween such lands, although such fence inay not extend along tiie whole boundary line. But no occupier is liabie to contribute to any fence whicli is not, m far a* practicable, throughout its length. This mixture will 'uffice for half an acre, and will form a very good lawn, and it kept cut close answers most soils.
