WAJKAXAE STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company report having held, their usual monthly stock tale m the WaiKanae yards on i'ues<;:|y, 29th inst., when they offered n email yarding ol sheep and cattle. .Bidding Mas sound, and all lots offered were disposed or under the hammer. J'rices wore as lollows:— Sheep. —•1-tooth wethers 22s 3d; s-iiorn lambs lis; aged ewes 8s liil to 12s : sound mouth ewes lite 6d. attle. — forward emtpy eows £7 Is to J-'8 ; empty lieaiera £4 3s; mixed weaners 21s; 18-jn'onth steers £3; cows ill milk £7 Is; bulls to £8 13s. LEVIN S.VLti. ilessrs Dalgety and Company report: At Levin on list inst.. they offered a small yarding of sheep and a medium yarding of cattle. The former met v ith good competition, but cattle were dull of sale. Prices were as under: iSlieep.—Medium shorn lambs lis; cull lambs 5s Od to 9s lOd ; . sound month ewes 20s; aged owes His 3d; oily lambs to 15s 7d. Cattle.—Two-year-old steers £5 10s: bulls £3 9s to £4 15s.
