I<>Chicago reports that as a sequel to tiie recent banquet to a visiting Roman Catholic bishop, when 3uO guests tufiered from eating poisoned soup, the police claim to have discovered a plot u destroy the buildings, clergy andi laity of twelve cities in the United States. They seized tiie cofl'cspondence of John Aliegrin and Jean Crones, two members of the alleged committee of fifteen that was leading the plot, it includes descriptions of bombs, to wreck buildings and kill churchgoers. These plans to destroy churches pointed to forty Chicago churches whero fires have occurred during the last few years and the 'recent attempt to blow up the State Penitentiary. . ,
