BIG FIRE AT GIS BORNE
Gisborne, This Day.
An extensive fire occurred in one cf the principal business blocks at one o'clock to-day. It started in tho paint shop of Grundy and Shennan, furniture warehousemen, and running rapidly through the premises of that firm, also those of Lcydon (carriage buildier), Guthrie and Maddocks (drapers) and Wood berry (fruiterer). The brigade now-appears to have the fire in hand, i'lid it is hoped will prevent it extending further.
