At the in.siaric-o of Mrs Gardener a buhscription list was opened at the Meeting and to canvas the town and meeting, and it was decided to canvass the town ami district for further sub- / senpfcons. In response to the appeal lrom 'Wellington it was decided to assist as much as possible ui the waking of the holdalls and liussifs. A meeting to make the necessary arrangements will be held in the first lew days in January. It aiso was decided to recommence the auction sales, so successful last year, in January next.
