Choice cauliflowers are arriving in larger quantities, and prices aro lower. Lettuce is in short supply, ■and higuei rates are ruling. Parsnips are «ii short supply, and meet keen competition. Carrots and white Turnips aro id short supply, and letch high prices. Spring onions and Leeks, also root, meet with ready sale. Rhu.iarb •is coming in in small lots, and prices are higher. Strawberries are coming to hand more freely, and prices ar"> easier. Cherries and gooseberries aio arriving in large consignments, and meet with ready sale, liutt tomatoes, also iNelson tomatoes, are arriving more freely, and high rates are ruling. VEGETABLES.
