Two reliable men, to cut Becondgrowtli are advertised for by Mr Walter ill. Ax-up, of Ohau. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company advertise entries for their Levin sale on Ueduesday in this issue. An unreserved sale of cattle, horses, sheep, sundries, etc., will bo held at Shannon on Monday, 2'oth December, beginning at 1 p.m., on account of Mr W. I*. Bell, who lias sold' his farm. Details are set out in today's Chronicle fcy advt. from Abraham and Williams, Ltd., the auctioneers. About 200 .head of cattle, 300 head of sheep and ton horses are in the list.
