THE NEW ZEALAND JfAHMEBfi , CO-OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING COMPANY. LIMITED. WELLINGTON PIfcODUOE MARKET. Wellington, iNov, 19. JLVatoes are iiriu at last week's races but are rather slow on account of new potatoes coming on the market in larger quantities. Pollard is firm at last week'b rate. JJrau is a little easier, the business in Chaff is blow, and the price lias weakened. Oats are about the Bame price ae last week. Wheat han again advanced in value, but we do not think it permanent; business in this, however, ia iuuch more brisk. Eggs have again advanced in price, and wo could do with, larger consignments, ilie selling price for porkers is very good; we could do with larger coneignmcuts ot these. Spring cabbage is in better demand and euppliea are limited. Choice cauliflowers are in short supply, mui realising higher prices for well packed lines. Large coneigrunents of lettuce have arrived iu the imarket this week, and prices are easier. Very few swedies arc offering, and high rates are ruling. Parsnips are in short eupply, and pri-ws good. Choice table carrots and turnips are in better demand. Spring onions, leeka, and celery are in good Bupply. The market is well euppliod with rhubarb at lower. rates. Nelson green peas are coming into the market iu larger 'quantity and prices liave declined. Strawberries, cherries, and gooseberries are arriving in larger parcels, and causing keen competition. We solicit the consignments of iliose clients who do not send hides, skins, etc., to us. All supplies reaching us sold at top market rates, and eve:y care of our customers' interests is taken.
