Spring cabbage is in better demand and supplies are limited. Choice cauliflowers are in short supply, and realising higher prices for well pacised lines. Large consignments of lettuce have arrived in the market this week, and prices are easier. Very lew swodies are offering, and high rates are ruliug. Parsnips are in short supply, and pnods good. Choice table carrots and) wii'"e turnips are in better demand. Spring onions, leeks, and celery are in good supply. .The market is well supplied with rhubarb at lower rates. Nelson green peas are coming into the market in larger quantity and prices liar a declined. Strawberries, cherries, and gooseberries are arriving in larger parcels, and causing keen oompetition.
