[By our Resident Representative/ druidism. Tiie usual fortnightly meeting of tlie ■Shannon lodge of Druids was held m tlie lodge-room of the hall oil Monday night. A.D. livo. i'argher presided. Tlio attendance of members was not large owing 110 doubt to the various depressing causes which have been at work recently. Tlie D.i'. Bro. Hook visited the lodge and was received -with Druidical honours. J.fc Avas decided to forego the charge tor the use ot the shooting gallciy to the Church of England bazaar. After a few words ol welcome from the A.D., JJIO. iiooK installed the officers elected to their respective places. The retiring A.L». Bro. Fargher thai'iked the members for their courtesy to him during Tiis term o*' office, and urged) the younger members to panw through the chairs with honour. The various officers thanked the lodge for electing them to positions in which they were placed. Bro. Murray congratulated tlie D.P. on tlio very creditable way in which In? nan performed the ceremony of installation. Bro. Hook, in responding, mentioned that he hadi enlisted to go to the front. Bro. Tilling was nominated for t'io office ol D.l'. Bro. Hook presented Bro. Wiggins with a j'.A. collar and diploma ar a mark of the esteem ol t.f <■ lodge. Bro. Wiggins thanked the lodge for their present. A committee was set up to look after tlie Christmas Tree. Accounts amounting to ,C-1 His Bf' were passed for payment and the lodge adjourned.
