The nail presented) a pretty appearance, the various stalls being representative jl the Allies-Great Jiritain, France, JJelgium, Italy and Jservia. Gunmug and Miss Thelnia Howe. There was a lairly nunieroas attendance in the afternoon, and the fair stall-holders did good business with their patrons. There were other a-. tractions too in tne shape ol quoite, shooting gallery, dart-throwing ani other games. In the evening the bazaar was ' continued. The Ven. Archdeacon C'oinins and the Rev. C Palmer were assisting at the {unction, both afternoon a.iiS, evening. A novel feature at the exhibition was "The Dug-out," the lollie stall which confronted the visitor on his entrant. It was an imitation ol an ontrencliniort at the front, flanked by guns and flags and behind the entrenchments wo"e two fair stall-holders dressed in khaki, who took as much money as they eould in return for yweet lollies and sweet smiles. The other stajl-holdors wore clad in costumes equally attractive aiifl equally dangerous to the unwary visitor who invariably fell a victim to their wiles. The pleasures of the visitors were enhanced by the performance of pianoforte selections biy. Mrs Shanklaud and. Miss P. Gunning.
