As preyioualy mentioned, there *re several wayaide at which one or |mor© of the above trains will atop whenever passengers desire to be taken down or »et-up. Local residents lay ascertain whioh are the trains which eater-<foi' their'towns, and may then work out the time which the train ivia take to travel from the atation mmediately preceding.
IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. From Ist December an express train atops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who go orth by this train will have to pay the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the jx press stops at. At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express ill 'op at Levin to pick up passengers but as no tickets are issued for either of these trains at Levjn, passengers must- pay the guards. Passengers oy this early morning train going south will have to pay the full faro from Palmertson North to Wellington.
