DA.NNEVIRKE STOCK SALE. Tho JSew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company,, Ltd. , , report: — Wo held our usual fortnightly Damiv;virko salo last Friday. A lair yarding of cattle came forward, and there was the usual good attendance of iht public. Throughout tiie sale competition was keen, and prices all round showed a good improvement, more especially for store stock. There was only a .small number of sheep penned, consisting ehk'ily oi shorn .sheep aiu: a few ewes and lambs. . Bidding for lilt latter did not reach owners' valuations, ami they uere all passed in. The lornior met with a good niarkjt, and sold at prices above late sale rates.
